    • Description Launches a bolt of energy.
    • Obtained In Final Story I: It is obtained when the party makes it to Grendel's Library and Serene gets her Magician Job Advancement. In Final Story II, she will have it by the time she is usable.
  • Charged Bolt

    • Description Launches a powerful bolt of energy.
    • Obtained Use Energy Bolt 50 times.
  • Magic Claw

    • Description Use MP to attack the enemy.

  • Magic Slash

  • Confuse
    • MP Usage 30
    • Description Confuses the enemy!
    • Obtained In Final Story I, you must have Haste on Antlan. Next, in the Map To The El Nath Mountains, you must jump to the solitary island with the snowman and fight the Giant Snowman. It has a 40% chance of dropping the Confuse Scroll. With it, return to El Nath and talk to the green-haired person standing next to a building near the center of town. (He?) She will trade the scroll and teach Confuse to Serene. This skill is unobtainable in Final Story II.
  • Magic Wall
    • MP Usage 30
    • Description Creates a magical defensive wall on all party members.
    • Obtained In Final Story I, upon entering El Nath, make a beeline north. From there, go right, and try and walk on the frozen river. Go up, left, up, right, down, right, up, right, and grab the chest. To return, go left, down, right, down, left, down, right, up, left, down, left, down. Then, go to El Nath. Near the middle of town, a purple-haired woman is standing on top of a building. Talk to her, and she will teach Serene Magic Wall. In Final Story II, Serene comes with this skill.
  • Mystic Wall
    • MP Usage 30
    • Description Creates a mystic wall to increase magic defense!
    • Obtained In Final Story I, this is slightly bugged: for the better, and the worse. Normally, you would need a Scroll of Magic Defense to get this skill. However, it is logically impossible to encounter the only thing that drops it (Dark Penguin.) However, by some strange mistake, having an HP Scroll can get you the skill as well. So get an HP Scroll from a Hankie, then go south from the El Nath entrance. Talk to the blue-haired person, and swap the HP Scroll for Mystic Wall.
  • Multi slash
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Attacks several enemies with a magic slash!
    • Obtained In Final Story one, you must get the two Multi Slash pages. Page 1 in the the Ant Tunnel I, where you must go through a complicated switch and rock puzzle to get to it. However, it's on your way to the Dark Altar, so it's not much of a hassle, since you'll be getting it anyways. Page 2 is a 15% drop from Ligators. Give these to Grendel's Assistant for the skill. This skill is unobtainable in Final Story II.
  • Meditation
    • MP Usage 30
    • Description Increases the whole party's intelligence.
    • Obtained In Final Story I, go to the map To The Elnath Mountains. Immediately upon entering from the El Nath side, go as far right as you possibly can. You should eventually see a red chest with the Meditation scroll. Return to El Nath and give it to the blue-shirted man near the bottom of the town for the skill.
  • HP Increase
    • MP Usage 200
    • Description Increases the party's max HP.
    • Obtained In Final Story I, hunt the monster Hankie for the HP Scroll at a 10% rate. Then, return to El Nath and speak to the blonde woman at the lower-right-most corner of the town. In Final Story II, Serene comes with this skill.
  • MP Increase
    • MP Usage 200
    • Description Increases the party's max MP.
    • Obtained Hunt the monster Yeti and Pepe for the MP Scroll at a 10% rate. Then, return to El Nath and speak to the old man with a blue cloak at the upper-right-most corner of the town. This skill cannot be obtained in Final Story II.
  • Energy Vortex
    • MP Usage 90
    • Description Launches several energy bolts to one enemy.
    • Obtained In Final Story I, hunt the Book of Energy Vortex from Jr. Sentinels or Priests of Regrets and turn them in to a brown-haired man in eastern El Nath. In Final Story II, Serene comes with this skill.
  • Raining Vortex
    • MP Usage 90
    • Description Launches several energy bolts to all enemies.
    • Obtained Use Energy Vortex 50 times.
  • Party Heal
    • MP Usage 400
    • Description Heals a bit of HP on all party members.
    • Obtained In Final Story I, upon entering The Other Dimension, enter "4" at the first portal, then go in. Defeat the monster at the next portal, and go in. Then, when you're on a solid rock platform, talk to the blue crystal for the skill.
  • Party Heal 2
    • MP Usage 500
    • Description A stronger version of Party Heal
    • Obtained Use Party Heal 20 times.
  • Party Heal 3
    • MP Usage 600
    • Description Heals a large amount of HP.
    • Obtained Use Party Heal 2 50 times.

  • Magic Charge

    • Description Increases Magic Attack by 160% but you lose a huge amount of DEF.
    • Obtained In the Victoria Base library, speak to the left tile of the bookcase second from the left on the upper row.
  • Ice Barrier
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Reduces ice damage sustained by all allies.
    • Obtained First, obtain Wild Shot for Lenna. Next, speak to the right tile of the third from the right bookcase on the upper-most level in the Victorian Library.
  • Fire Barrier
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Reduces fire damage sustained by all allies.
    • Obtained First, obtain Wild Shot for Lenna. Next, speak to the right tile of the third from the right bookcase on the upper-most level in the Victorian Library.
  • Volt Barrier
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Reduces volt damage sustained by all allies.
    • Obtained First, obtain Wild Shot for Lenna. Next, speak to the right tile of the third from the right bookcase on the upper-most level in the Victorian Library.
  • Earth Barrier
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Reduces earth damage sustained by all allies.
    • Obtained First, obtain Wild Shot for Lenna. Next, speak to the right tile of the third from the right bookcase on the upper-most level in the Victorian Library.
  • Wind Barrier

  • Barrier of Darkness

    • Description Makes party members resistant to Dark attacks. Also reduces the rates of possession.
    • Obtained Speak to the right tile of the second from the left bookcase on the upper part of the Victorian library.
  • Party Barrier of Darkness

    • Description Makes party members resistant to Dark attacks. Also reduces the rates of possession.
    • Obtained First, get Barrier of Darkness. Next, go to Hein's Castle Floor 3. Go to the right until you hit an up - down fork. Go up, and you'll be presented with a left - right + up fork. Pick the right + up fork. Then you'll be presented with a third fork: a up+left+u-turn or a left+down+left+up fork. Pick the left+down+left+up fork. Follow the path, and you'll see the chest soon. Please note you NEED BARRIER OF DARKNESS FOR THE CHEST TO DO ANYTHING!
  • Purge
    • MP Usage 10
    • Description Removes the poison status effect.
    • Obtained Speak to the left tile of the second from the left bookcase on the upper part of the Victorian library.
  • Purge Haze
    • MP Usage 10
    • Description Removes the poison status effect on all members.
    • Obtained First, get Purge. Next, go to Hein's Castle Floor 1. Right before the staircase to Hein's Castle floor 2 is a chest. Open it for Purge Haze. YOU WILL NEED PURGE FIRST FOR THE CHEST TO DO ANYTHING!
  • Comet Bolt
    • MP Usage 150
    • Description Creates a huge ball of energy and hits the enemy from above.
    • Obtained First, get Energy Vortex for Serene (which she should have, unless your game copy is corrupt.) Next, go to the Victoria Base library and speak to the left tile of the right-most bookcase of the center level.
  • Deadly Slash
    • MP Usage 150
    • Description Uses MP to attack the enemy with several deadly slashes.
    • Obtained First, get Energy Vortex for Serene (which she should have, unless your game copy is corrupt.) Next, go to the Victoria Base library and speak to the left tile of the right-most bookcase of the center level.
  • Magic Pillar
    • MP Usage 300
    • Description Creates a magical pillar. It deals heavy damage on one enemy and cannot be sealed.
    • Obtained First off, you must be free of the Red World and have Comet Bolt and Deadly Slash learned for Serene. Go to the map El Nath Mountains II. Ascend the stairs, but do not ascend the second flight of stairs: instead, go to the right and into the cave entrance. Then, exit again. Defeat Blue Hankies for the El Nath Snow Pass (20% chance). Talk to the portal, then take the "Magician (F) Challenge." Within the challenge, the monster Green Werewolf will have a 40% chance of dropping Magic Pillar page 1, and the boss at the end, "Magician," will have a 20% chance for Magic Pillar page 2. After obtaining both pages, trade them in to the crystal right outside the challenge portal. Please note that subsequent challenges made for this skill require an El Nath Snow Pass per challenge!
  • Sword of Faith
    • MP Usage 300
    • Description With Zeru's help, Serene creates a mystical sword to attack one enemy.
    • Obtained First, you must get Magic Pillar. Next, clear Serene's Arc for the prize.

TRANSFORMATION SKILLS:

  • Quake
    • MP Usage 50
    • Description Attacks several enemies with a powerful ground attack!
    • Obtained In Final Story I, you must complete the Earth Temple. Then, perform Serene's Earth Transformation at 100% SR. In Final Story II, Serene comes with the Earth Star.
  • Rising Earth
    • MP Usage 70
    • Description Attacks the enemy with the ground. It may stun the enemy!
    • Obtained In Final Story I, you must complete the Earth Temple. Then, perform Serene's Earth Transformation at 100% SR. In Final Story II, Serene comes with the Earth Star.
